Samuel Pepys
Why more bloggers haven’t sanctified Samuel Pepys, I don’t know.
He started this, and even then, his journals wasn’t discovered for close to a hundred years, if I recall my literary history, but I don’t. I’m sure it all available someplace online. I used to link to a site that was doing Pepys journal, day-by-day.
