Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre allegedly flew a flag as an advertising signal. Black was for tragedy, white was comedy, and red was history. Multiple sources of data on that one.

Likewise, in conversation the other afternoon, I explained I would like to fly a flag, from the site’s main — something. Texas flag, sure, but that currently bears uncomfortable political commentary. A US flag? Sure, but same.

A Ukrainian flag, then, yes? Plus a rainbow flag because I’m supportive and a trans flag, again as a gesture of support, not really too political or anything.

“Ya’ll means all.”

Before it was co-opted by extremists, the Gonzales Flag was a personal favorite, as its original form spoke to resilience, independence, and freedom — oddly enough, what many of its current modified version fight against, resilience, independence, and freedom. Yes, the “Come and take it” flag lost its original meaning.

So there’s no flag or affiliation, and I would guess my sentiments remain clear.
