The Problem with Masks

Per the orders, and out of respect, at all events these days, like Shakespeare said, masks are required.

Dining out the other morning, grabbing a breakfast on the way to work, there was a familiar, so it seemed, a young woman waiting on us. Part hair style, first clue, shape, genteel mannerisms, she just seemed so — like I knew her. I had done reading for her, but that was before masks. Behind the masks? There’s a certain kind of anonymity from the masks.

Not quite spooky, but almost.
