Just means the worlds safe for my toys again. As an example? That’s, like, a two-inch Cattleman Style pocketknife. I had an old boy scout version, but that one, the boy scout version was bigger, rougher, and tougher. Weighty.

Following some weird, international changes, TSA will continue to monitor the situation.

I’m still not sure about carrying a pocketknife through the security — I just feel naked without one. Even a tiny one, just used for opening letters and paring nails.

That one is a Moore Maker knife, serial numbered, from Matador, TX. Probably bought it in Alpine, if I recall, and my memory is notoriously ambivalent when it comes to hard facts.

Moore Maker: real cowboy tools. I always loved their pocket knives, high carbon, not exactly stainless, steel.

Moore Maker has one knife, a single-blade, locking trapper, closed it’s 4 and an 1/8 inches, blade is a slender form, and that’s my choice for an every-day carry knife.

TSA, rules, the encroachment of civilization has limited where I can carry my normal pocket knife. I can’t even take it in the court houses anymore. Looks like the rules are getting weird again.

We’ll see. Don’t travel as much these days.
