When I worked the last of the big shows in Austin, the first day the promoter cranked the AC down to 67. I was in shorts. Before going back the next day, I stopped and bought a shirt at one the Fallas’s locations. It’s an inexpensive, durable-goods, dry goods store with a strong Hispanic influence. Cheap.
“Ropas para Caballeros,” sign says.
The heavy, must be synthetic, shirt cost $3. Three dollars. Good deal. Kept me warm all day, but, I’m sure, by the end of the day, it had started to shrink. That was before I washed it. Doubt it will take a wash. We’ll see.
Sunday morning coming down, as the song goes, I came across this t-shirt. In that store.
Nice, red image.
