Gorilla Welding

Harkens back to a distant past, Gorilla Welding, what we called it. Then there was a particular mechanical adhesive, used for glueing cylinders onto motor blocks, more like just sealing and cementing parts together again, but we called it “Gorilla snot” because it was strong, but ugly. It was a special Yamaha lube product. Yellow in color, and probably not very good to have come in contact with human flesh. But it was the best motor adhesive.

Gorilla Welding was strong but totally unattractive. Same idea. Ugly but strong.
