Difference of Opinion

A simple difference of opinion

Two pieces of comedy came through. Memes, maybe, or just cartoons gratefully lifted from more august tomes, not sure of the provenance. Arrived in e-mail, which, for me, still the most reliable social network I’ve got.

One was, quick blush, think of an El Arroyo sign, only it wasn’t. But like that.

“Without freedom of speech, we wouldn’t know who the idiots were.”

The other one was two characters, staring down at a numeral, either a 6 or a 9, and from one side, it would look like a six, and from the other side, it would look like a nine.

“Depends on how you look at it.”

Both are right.

It’s humorous and it points to our current division, politically, emotionally, and otherwise. But the point is, we can disagree without the violent after affects.

Besides, in that equation, both sides are correct.
