The Dark Hours

Feeling more spirited, hopeful, at the time, looking and thinking the pandemic was close to over, I wound up reading three of Michael Connelly’s in a series, an adjunct to Bosch, with a strong female lead. I got excited when this novel, The Dark Hours was announced, and I thought it was coming quickly, so I hurried through the previous three novels, starting with The Late Show.

Police procedural, with a touch of neo-noir, as Harry Bosch gives an assist. The seamy underworlds and criminal activities in a climate that was profoundly anti-police. Mask. No mask. Vaccine. No vax.

Does everyone in LA have a Dodger’s hat?

That was fun, but by the end of the book, just make sure to allow enough time finish it.
