Old client called the other afternoon, and we played a little game of “catch me up” with personal lives, fishing forecast, and general pandemic news.
Been knowing that person better part of two, most near three decades now. Husbands, wives, girlfriends, boyfriends, off-spring, locations, lovers, and losers — they come and they go, am I right?
There wasn’t a question in there, which, I don’t have a problem being adequately compensated for my time, but it wasn’t a time of need, other than seeking that human connection.
My suggestion? Wait until something pops up that requires attention .
