The problem with the natal Leo Moon is that the Moon itself doesn’t always enjoy being parked in Leo. This is the sign of the person who can say more with less. There will occasionally be the tragic, or even tragic-comic Byronic angst and air with this sign. There will always be a minor “drama-queen,” struggling to get out.
The only warning about this lunar placement is that the exaggerated passion can come back and cause problems.
Not to play the martyr, but anyone with The Leo Moon is capable of great personal sacrifice to arrive at the stated goal, whether that goal is a destination or finished project.
As with the Leo Sun Sign, the Leo Moon can be quite tenacious — stubborn to a fault — in other words. That’s both a weakness and strength. The weakness is that the Leo Moon can hold onto an outdated ideal or concept to the point of no longer serving a useful function. The tenacious, stubborn, the upside to that energy is that stubbornness will work on a problem until obtaining a solid solution.

Perhaps this is the source of the term, “Spiritual but not religious.” This side of the Leo Moon can be best observed by a simple, gold cross, nominally Christian, yet the Leo Moon doesn’t attend a church of any stripe.
