It is a little ironic, I think of morning glories as a wild and free plant growing wherever they please. Not so with the occupants of the jail.

morning glories were imported to New Zealand and are considered obnoxious plants like your prisoners?
I can’t say if the Morning Glories are native or not, but they are wild and quite beautiful, and rather ephemeral, sometimes gone in less than a day. I’ll look them up.
