Eclipse Patterns:

Stardust Motel

Stardust Motel

I’ve used the quote several times, “These late eclipse portend no good,” and so on. From Shakespeare’s King Lear, second act.

So close, but not quite.

When I find myself repeating the same advice, over and over, the same answer to questions, sometimes slightly different questions, but the same answer, that usually means it’s time to commit it to print.

An eclipse, an astrological eclipse, occurs when the Sun gets in the way of the Moon, or the Moon gets in the way of the Sun. The Sun is basic ego drive, who we are, and the Moon is the emotional side.

Touched by the eclipse cycle, that means, heightened reactions to events, stronger emotions, and sometimes, the irrational over-rules the rational. Observed phenomena, ask the character in Lear.

Marketing:
I was going to title it “bad marketing,” but I suppose, it works on some people.

“Hi, Kramer, this is (redacted) with the (redacted) (network), and my research assistant forwarded me your name to see if you would like to do a show on our network.”

How it really works? I pay for inter-web distribution, then I provide my own advertising, for the show, which also drives traffic to their networks, so I’m advertising for them. Plus paying a fee.

Here’s a better way to spend money: subscribe to the horoscopes.

Specialized pockets of information:
>> We’re back home now!
>> all full up of seafood.
>> Thanks again for the tips.
>> We ate at Snoopy’s, Water Street
>> and Blackbeard on your recommendation.
>> We even bought a few CDs at the Surf Museum!

Missed the coffee shop next to the Surf Museum of South Texas.

Expiration Date:
I have an electronic tickler, a reminder that simply says, “Domain expires.”
