I snapped this with a camera that was in the glove box of a girlfriend’s car. I was heading out that dock to fish, ‘specs’ were spooling up under the end of the of the dock (Speckled Sea Trout). I had a pole in one hand and tackle bag thrown over my shoulder, and I paused long enough to get two pictures of the bird standing on the dock’s rail. Then I took a step and the bird took to the wing. When I unloaded the images, that’s the one I liked best.
Pure chance.
Fishing was fine for undersized trout. Fun.
