The Thoth Deck
This is easily my favorite deck for doing readings. I tend to use it a lot. This is a spare, of which I have several, and this is the larger size, cards are over three inches wide and over five inches long. It’s good, platic-coated card stock. Old school Thoth deck, been used, although, none of the cards are damaged. There is minor wear along the tops of the cards, but the images and cards themselves are still good.

And if you don’t know, the Thoth was imagined by Aleister Crowley, and painted by Lady Frieda Harris for the Ordo Templi Orientis, This deck, in its larger format, is easy to see and equally easy to use – provided that one is conversant with the rich symbolism and ritual associated with its originator. Deck is good shape, no cards are missing. The little included booklet is in perfect condition.

From the box, it says, “Complete 78-card Crowley Tarot Deck in stunning new edition based upon the original painting.”

There is no warranty, expressed or implied as to suitability or applicability for your own use. Usual disclaimers apply. Shipping and handling is a flat, fixed fee of $5.55, $4.05 for USPS Priority, $0.50 for confirmation, and that little bubble mailer envelope costs me a buck. But wait, there’s more?

Londa Tarot
The Londa Tarot carries a 1993 copyright date, and I’m guessing/estimating that these are from that original print run. Strange and rather evocative cards. The imagery runs along the lines of the traditional Rider-Waite tarot cards, but the way the artist interpreted them is unusual. There’s, to me, an angular look to all the characters, and there’s a hint, a subtle overtone of amorphous sexuality.

This particular deck, I quit using it for readings some years ago. While I enjoyed the sensuous artwork, the images never did connect for me. It is an interesting deck, as it turns out, the artist seems to have a strong fan club or cult. Some people really can connect because the art work is realistically surreal.

It’s in good, if not actually pristine, condition. The little enclosed booklet, as well as two extra cards, are included. Box itself has very minor wear.
